Q. I don't want an image on my badges, just text. Can you do this?
A. Of course we can. Just email us the text you want, and the colour you want for the text and the background. Remember it's only a one inch badge so fewer words are better. If you let us know what font you would prefer, while we may not have the exact one, we'll do our best to match it. If you want, we can email you a jpeg for your approval before we start production.

Q. What payment methods do you accept ?
A. Our preferred payment method is through WorldPay. This is an electronic payment system which is fully encrypted for your security, and accepts most major credit and debit cards. We also accept personal cheques and Postal Orders - drop us an email for details of where to send it, who to make it payable to etc. (Or if you want to meet us in the pub, you can just hand us some used fivers, and buy us a pint !)

Q. Do I have to wait for my cheque to clear before you produce the badges ?
A. Not usually, unless we're feeling particularly suspicious. We generally trust people, until they prove they're not worthy - then we tip off the tax office since they're much more frightening than us !

Q. How quickly will I get my badges ?
A. We aim to process and despatch orders within 4 days of receiving them (and the payment!). Often - and particularly on smaller orders of a couple of hundred badges - we turn them round even more quickly than that. Allowing a day for the post office to get them to you (assuming they live up to their promise) and you should have them in about 5 days, or even less. (Larger orders in the thousands, may take a few days more, since they have to be fitted into the production schedule along with the others.)

Q. I need my badges even faster than that - can you help?
A. If you're in a hurry, you can always take advantage of our RUSH ORDER service which will get the badges to you in two working days from placing the order. Click on the Panic Button on the home page for full details.(Please note, the RUSH ORDER service is currently only available for 25mm badges.)

Q. I'm in a band which sets off on tour tomorrow - any chance at all we could get badges in time ?
A. We'll do our best ! (But if we have to work overtime, we'll have to charge you more !) Email us NOW...

Q. Can we get multiple designs within an order ?
A. Of course you can. Our standard prices - the ones displayed on this site - cover up to four different designs within any order of 100 or more badges. If you want more than four designs within your order, email us, and we'll see what we can do. (we may charge a few pounds for the additional design and setting work involved, but it will still be very reasonable!)

Q. Can I just send you a picture of my favourite singer, cut out of a mag, for you to make into a badge ?
A. Sorry, no. We have to respect the copyright laws. If you're sending us a picture, you have to have the legal right to use that image. So unless you took the picture yourself, or have the phototgrapher's permission, you can't have a badge made from it.

Q. I don't have a computer, so I can't do my design on it, or email it to you ?
A. Well how are you reading this ? Not a problem. However you make the design, you can mail it to us and we will scan it. Do try to ensure it stays flat - don't fold it up to put it in the envelope - we don't have the facilities to iron it for you as well, to get rid of the creases !

Q. Can I see a sample of the badge before you produce my order ?
A. Of course you can. If we've worked on the graphic, or text, we can email you a photo of a finished badge for approval. We can also send you a sample of the actual badge. But remember that this will slow down receipt of your order - we won't start production until you have approved it in such a case.

Q. Can I get a refund if I change my mind about an order?
A. That depends. Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, the normal right to return items within 7 days does not apply, since the badges are customised, and made to your specifications. Obviously this doesn't affect your other statutory rights. If you change your mind very quickly (ie before we have started work on your order) then normally we will be happy to cancel it and give you a refund. In fact, we are reasonable people and if we think there is some justification to give you a full or partial refund for some reason we will do so, at our discretion.
